FestMusic Mallorca presents DUO BENCIOLINI - GIACOPUZZI "ENTRE FOLIES I FANTASIES" Sala d'Armes del Palau Can Vivot, Palma FestMusic Mallorca is pleased to present the prestigious Duo Benciolini – Giacopuzzi, made up of the Italian flautist Tommaso Benciolini and the pianist Jacopo Giacopuzzi, two musicians with a solid international career who have performed at the leading auditoriums and festivals in Europe, America and Asia. Winner of the Respighi Prize in New York, Tommaso Benciolini has appeared as a soloist on such iconic stages as Carnegie Hall in New York, the Berlin Philharmonie, the Musikverein in Vienna, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and Suntory Hall in Tokyo, establishing himself as one of the leading flautists of his generation. He is joined by Jacopo Giacopuzzi, an Italian pianist based in the United States, awarded in numerous international competitions and recognised for his brilliant career as a soloist and chamber musician in the United States and Europe. Under the title Entre Folies i Fantasies, the concert offers a fascinating journey through works that explore imagination, virtuosity and music’s evocative power. The programme includes compositions by Marin Marais, Franz Liszt, Nino Rota and Patrick Pahud, offering a captivating dialogue between flute and piano that combines elegance, lyricism and instrumental brilliance. For this occasion they will also have the special collaboration of the Mallorcan cellist Gabriel Fiol, bringing a new sonic dimension to an evening that promises to move both lovers of classical music and audiences wishing to discover exceptional performers in a unique heritage setting.
