ISRAEL FERNÁNDEZ

“De oro y marfil” is one of Israel Fernández’s most ambitious shows, where his broadest side as a musician and artist comes to the fore. With this work, Israel aims to take us on a subtle journey through his personal way of interpreting flamenco singing, with a selection of original compositions and reworkings of classical pieces, all tied together and brought into a new stage and musical setting. The piano stands as the central decorative element of the piece, which will also feature strings, choirs, and his regular flamenco musicians. In this way, the work aims to be a rollercoaster of emotions: from intimate, delicate, and melodic moments to dark, vertiginous, and raw passages.
