KIND OF LATIN · Jazz and Wine at “ES CUB” at Mesquida Mora winery

Kind of Latin is a project connecting the language of modern jazz with rhythms and sounds rooted in Cuban and Caribbean traditions. Together with Pep Garau on trumpet and Abel Marcel on piano and bass, Marius Koopman takes on drums and percussion in a trio where improvisation, rhythm and listening share the spotlight equally. The proposal takes the creative universe of Miles Davis as its starting point to explore new connections between contemporary jazz and Latin traditions from a fresh, open perspective. The concert will take place at Es Cub, the outdoor space at Mesquida Mora. The Jazz i Vi format combines live music, a glass of wine from the winery, and a gastronomic offering prepared by Seal Private Dining, in an experience designed to be enjoyed calmly while sharing the sunset.
