La llata in Capdepera

As part of the 6th Week of the Art of Palm Weaving ("Setmana de l'Art de la Pauma"), this talk explores the "llata" – the traditional craft of weaving dwarf-palm leaves that is deeply rooted in Capdepera. Speakers are Ramon Molina de Dios, doctor in history and emeritus professor of economics at the University of the Balearic Islands, and historian and writer Pep Terrassa Flaquer. The event takes place in the multipurpose hall of the Capdepera theatre, organised by Art de la Pauma.
