Auditòrium de Palma stands for a wide-ranging stage programme in Palma: concerts, theatre, dance, ballet and family formats all come together here. This is also reflected in the mix of classical music, jazz, music projects, drama and show formats, ranging from large orchestral evenings to ballet classics such as Swan Lake. Added to this are titles such as The Little Mermaid, The Mousetrap, El método Grönholm, Pica-Pica or magic shows and musical and tribute evenings. In this way, the venue is a place for audiences who want to experience live performing arts in many facets.
The centre for performing arts and congresses was built in 1969. It has up to nine rooms; two of them, Sala Magna and Sala Mozart, are equipped for stage arts and concerts with good visibility and acoustics and are also used for congresses. The Auditòrium is located in a privileged position right on the Bay of Palma, in the heart of the city and surrounded by hotels. It is therefore one of the defining addresses in Palma's cultural life and combines stage activities with a congress function in a central location.
