L'Arxiu de les Mentides by Cristina Terzi (Catalonia) Open presentation of the residency: Friday, 7 August at 8 pm Synopsis: We were told that if we lied, our nose would grow, but now, if you want, you can have it operated on and nobody remembers the story. L'Arxiu de les Mentides is a сценic search about a generation looking for truth amid noise, screens and post-truth; about how we manufacture absolute truths and turn them into totems in order to be able to live. Between memory and invention, the piece explores how narrative—personal, media or institutional—becomes a space of power. At a time when collective trust is crumbling, the proposal aims to face contradiction head-on: what do we do when we no longer know what to believe in? When we no longer trust ourselves or others? The piece combines dark humor, body and direct action to dismantle the fictions that sustain our daily life.
