QÂNÂT · Cicle de Cambra del Migjorn · Campos

BETWEEN MALLORCA AND PERSIA QÂNÂT explores the meeting points between the musical traditions of the Mediterranean, Mesopotamia and Persia, and the oral heritage of Mallorca. Through original compositions, traditional instruments and vocal work, the project creates a dialogue between cultures brought together by centuries of exchange and influence. The result is a proposal that combines memory, improvisation and contemporary creation from an open perspective of listening and discovery. This concert is part of the Cicle de Cambra del Migjorn, a touring project promoted by Illa Músics that brings together music, heritage and territory. The group is made up of Pegah Khoei (voice, tar, bendir and daf), Tomeu Gomila (voice, accordion and lithophone) and José Miguel Puigserver "Puter" (double bass, kantele and charango). The Auditòrium de Campos (Antic Oratori de l'Hospital) is one of the municipality's most singular historic buildings. Its architecture and acoustic qualities offer a particularly suitable setting for chamber music and an intimate listening experience. Friday, 14 August · 9:00 p.m. Concert included in the programme of the Festes de Campos 2026.
