10th Local Studies Conference

Get to know Llucmajor from a different perspective: the 10th Local Studies Conference puts the town itself at the centre of attention. Local studies explore what we know about a community, offering ways to understand its history, culture and sense of identity. The event on 7 November 2026 forms part of a programme running across 6 and 7 November. If you’re curious about Mallorca beyond its familiar sights, the subject offers a rewarding starting point: what gives a place its character, and how can research help us understand it? This is an invitation to take a closer, more thoughtful look at Llucmajor.
