Private Yacht Charter from Palma — a day on the water

You set off from Palma harbour in the morning and have the yacht all to yourselves for the whole day. Where you go is decided together with the skipper — he knows the coves where there’s still room at two in the afternoon, and the ones you’re better off avoiding on an August weekend. Between Portals Vells and Cala Blava there are half a dozen anchorages you can’t even reach from land. The engine switches off, the swim ladder goes down, and for the next hour you hear nothing but water against the hull. If you want, you can snorkel; if you don’t, you can just stay stretched out on deck. At sunset, you head back towards the cathedral. The last half hour before reaching the harbour is the one everyone remembers later.
