Manacor combines culture, local specialities and routes through gently rolling hills and valleys. At the beginning of the 20th century, a steam locomotive ran between Manacor and Artà; today, nature trails along disused railway tracks shape this part of the island. During your stay, you can discover the well-known artificial pearls, try traditional Suspiros or experience the atmosphere at the trotting track. A narrow path near the bathing cove leads to Cala Romantica. At the end of May and the beginning of June, Manacor celebrates the Fires i Festes de Primavera. Another local tradition has brought children to a special willow tree in the town once a year for over 100 years.

Manacor maintains its own traditions and is known beyond the country’s borders for its artificial pearls. Culinary specialities include Suspiros, traditional biscuits from the town. The annual gathering of children at a special willow tree has also been part of local custom for over 100 years.
