Before you reach the entrance you hear it: a deep house bass drifting across the Magaluf waterfront. Then the view opens up – pool, palm trees, Mediterranean in one unbroken panorama, 180 degrees wide, and somewhere in the middle DJs push feel-good anthems while guests recline on Bali beds as if the day had no end.
Ocean's Calvià Beach is what happens when you don't build a beach club, a seafront restaurant, and a nightclub side by side, but fold them into each other. Operated by Grupo Oceans at Plaza Jacques Sasson, right on Playa de Magaluf – the sea is literally at the door.
The Concept
Three formats, one address. During the day, pool parties set the pace – notorious themed parties with a DJ programme straight from the Ibiza playbook. Party brands like Pukka Up and House in Paradise have relocated here, bringing white-island know-how to Mallorca. When evening arrives, the nightclub side kicks in: the Oceans Room, with an energy all its own.
Alongside these, the Oceans Garden offers live music sessions and daily themed events, while Oceans Beach comes with sea views, continuous music, and a choice of VIP zones. For those who don't want to skip a meal, the Oceans Restaurant is there with a seafront outlook.
Atmosphere
The setting is open-air, directly on the water. Multiple moods let you experience the same venue in very different ways: at the main pool terrace with Bali beds the party pulses; on the chill-out terraces things slow right down. Those wanting more calm find the beach area behind the pool to be a different world – relaxed, breezy, close to the water. Guests have called it "far nicer and relaxed"; it's barely known, but right there.
Energy shifts with the time of day. Afternoons: swimwear, poolwater, house music. Towards evening, dress codes and mood shift. Wednesdays bring the Agenda format – all black, dancers, rotating guest DJs – an energy noticeably different from the standard summer day.
Food & Drinks
The Oceans Restaurant positions itself as Mediterranean Fusion: fresh, seasonal ingredients, creative sharing plates. Seafood is central, Champagne is on hand, and the cocktail menu works with premium spirits – handcrafted mixes and tropical classics. The wine list is sommelier-curated, mixing Mediterranean and international labels in a selective framework.
For pool parties: a drinks package simplifies table management considerably; staff are flexible on swaps, which matters more than it sounds when a pool day is in full swing.
Who It's For & What Occasions
Hen and stag groups come here because the format delivers: reserved areas, VIP service, an organised framework. For regular friend groups, access is just as easy. The private events side handles birthdays, corporate incentives, and weddings – exclusive pool zone, DJ booth, VIP sofas, in-house catering from canapés to plated dinners. That makes this one of the few beach club formats on Mallorca that can genuinely handle corporate groups at scale.
