Bodegas Antonio Nadal – officially Antonio Nadal Ros Bodegas & Viñedos – is a family-run winery in the Denominació d'Origen Binissalem, set on the Finca Son Roig in the Raiguer, Mallorca's central wine country. Red, white and rosé wines have been made here since 1968, exclusively from the estate's own vines, far from the coast and the tourist routes.

What makes Bodegas Antonio Nadal special
It is the "Bodega Número 1" of the DO Binissalem: the first winery to register with the Consell Regulador when the appellation was founded in 1989. You sense that pioneering role in the house – not as marketing, but as a matter-of-fact diligence carried across generations.
The estate is run today by Germán Alberti Nadal, the founder's grandson, who has led the third generation since 2012. His approach: expressive, deeply personal wines that render the character of the Son Roig terroir without compromise. The family motto – "Illusion, Soil, Effort and Wine" – is more than a slogan here.

Wines & grape varieties
The reds draw on the Mallorcan varieties Manto Negro and Callet alongside Tempranillo, Monastrell and Cabernet Sauvignon. The whites come from the native Prensal Blanc (known on Mallorca as Moll) and Macabeo. Manto Negro, the island's most widely planted red grape, typically brings notes of ripe cherry and Mediterranean scrub to the glass.
Both single-variety and blended wines are made, under labels such as Anaros (Blanc, Selección, Crianza and Reserva), Blanc de Moll, Ros Rosat and Vermell de Rosa. Through the year the winery shows at the island's key events, among them the Fira del Vi de Pollença and the Nit del Vi.

Tasting & tours
If you want more than just a bottle, book "Wine Sensations by Son Roig", the estate's oenotourism programme. Germán Alberti hosts it himself: a walk through the vines, a tour of the cellar with an explanation of the winemaking, and a tasting of the house wines – all in the quiet of the finca.
The farm shop is open on weekdays; visits and tastings take place during the week, with weekends by prior arrangement only. Exact times and booking are in the info panel.

History & terroir
Antonio Nadal Ros acquired the Finca Son Roig in 1960, and wine has been produced here since 1968. The vines of Son Roig have been regarded as a benchmark for quality since the 18th century. The tone is set by the stony soils of the Call Vermell – the red, mineral-rich earth that gives the area its name and lends the wines the minerality that makes them so well suited to ageing in wood.
