Nightlife & Party Venues on Mallorca

Mallorca's nightlife isn't a single cliché — it's a whole spectrum, from the boisterous Bierkönig on Playa de Palma and the legendary Megapark to polished addresses like Lío Mallorca and Amok in Palma. You'll find both worlds side by side, often just a few kilometres apart.

The range stretches from big party temples with live acts and sing-along anthems to cocktail bars, rooftop terraces and intimate clubs with live music. The first thing to decide when you head out on Mallorca is the mood you're after — loud and carefree, or curated and laid-back.

Playa de Palma, around the so-called "Ballermann", is the heart of the high-energy party scene, with venues like Bierkönig and Hello The Club. Magaluf draws a young, international crowd, and BCM is its landmark for big club nights.

Palma itself has a quieter second side: along the Paseo Marítimo, clubs and cocktail bars line the waterfront, while in Santa Catalina and the old town you'll discover rooftop bars, wine spots and jazz. Places like Brassclub for serious cocktails, the Blue Jazz Club for live music, or the Gibson Bar prove that nightlife here can also be quiet and knowing.

Ask yourself what you're in the mood for first: a big stage and sing-along hits, refined drinks with a view, or dancing until sunrise. Location and atmosphere follow almost on their own from there.

The high season from May to October brings the full programme — open-air events and long nights — while in winter the action concentrates in Palma's bars and clubs. For trending clubs and tables it pays to book ahead; on Playa de Palma much of it works spontaneously, too.
