Lobster Club – Beach Clubs in Mallorca

Lobster Club

Puerto Portals

Puerto Portalsbeach club

The elevator doors open — and before you see the sea, you see the manta rays. Wooden sculptures by Sandra Tarruella hang above tables set with blue chairs and white tablecloths. Then the view opens up: glass-front infinity pool, open Mediterranean, a small island in the distance. Lobster Club is Grupo Cappuccino's waterside project in Puerto Portals — one of Mallorca's most refined marinas, right at Edificio Panorama.

Lobster Club – impression 1

Concept

Grupo Cappuccino approaches Lobster Club across three dimensions: a restaurant for lunch and dinner with Mediterranean cuisine built consistently around lobster; a Day Experience with infinity pool, teak sun loungers and Bali beds; and a summer music programme with DJ sets and Full Moon Parties. Three areas that blend into each other as the day progresses — from a late morning by the pool to sundowners as the harbour lights come on.

Atmosphere

The interior bears Tarruella's signature: nautical without cliché. The wooden manta rays suspended from the ceiling are the strongest visual accent — calm and sculptural, not décor competing for attention. Blue chairs, white tablecloths, warm wooden floors. Three dining settings are available: by the pool, on the garden terrace, or in the nautical interior.

Outside, the lounging area features teak sun loungers and Bali beds for two, light blue cushions, colourful parasols. The view over the open water and the small island just offshore is always there — as is the awareness that Puerto Portals lies right below. Arriving by yacht means using the complimentary tender service; everyone else walks in from the marina.

The crowd here is relaxed and quality-focused — couples, groups with booked Bali beds, locals with children, yacht guests. English, Spanish and German are spoken on-site.

Food & Drinks

The menu revolves around lobster — without detours. Gillardeau oysters with ikura and finger lime dressing, bluefin tuna tartare with caviar, carpaccio of red prawns: an entry point into a clear Mediterranean tone. The lobster meloso rice (arroz meloso) was the dish that lingered longest after the test visit — creamy, concentrated. Alongside: lobster linguine with cherry tomatoes and basil, and lobster à l'Américaine in tomato-brandy sauce. The amuse-bouche is often a vegetable crudités plate on ice with anchovy cream — asparagus, mini cucumbers, purple carrots, quail eggs. Vegetarian options are available. The dessert menu focuses on sorbets and ice cream, plus chocolate truffles.

By the pool and at the bar: cocktails, Champagne and curated wines. The beach club experience often finds its rhythm in a lobster roll with a glass of Champagne at the infinity pool.

Programme & Music

From June to September, guest DJs play in the lounging and pool area — Afro house, deep house and melodic sounds set the mood for long afternoons. The Full Moon Parties at each full moon are the club's flagship format and a fixed rhythm of every season. On Sundays, the sunset series "Sunkissed" brings Afro house sets, linen and the last light over the harbour. Further recurring formats include "Eclipse" as a special night-time event, a Closing Party at the end of season, "Wine & Dine" (brunch with DJ and cocktails) and "Wellness Day" (movement by the sea, signature brunch). Current dates and line-ups are listed in the events section below.

For whom & what occasions

Guests with children under 12 should note that the "Swim & Sea" area is adults-only. Otherwise, Lobster Club works for many constellations — an upscale lunch, a full day on the loungers, sunset drinks, or a full moon evening as a group. Multiple Bali beds can be arranged together for larger parties.

Insider Tip

Sunday + summer + evening: that's the formula for the "Sunkissed" series — an Afro house set, the last light over the harbour, and when the marina lights come on, the evening takes another step. Restaurant and sun lounger/Bali bed bookings run separately and both need to be made in advance — both reservable on the website.
