First built in 2016, the Oceanis 51.1 was designed by Berret Racoupeau/Nauta Design. One third of the hull is stepped, a design trait that creates additional interior space and gives the model its distinctive technical identity. Its large cockpit is arranged around benches for eight guests and a fold-away table, so meals and route discussions have a natural gathering place without permanently filling the space.
Two steering stations each have their own comfortable seat, giving the helm area a purposeful layout, while two reclining sun loungers with drink holders provide a separate place to stretch out. The model carries 106 m² of sail and has a draught of 2.88 metres. Its standard engine installation is an 80 HP Common Rail sail drive; alternative configurations include an 80 HP Dock & Go system or a 110 HP Common Rail engine with propeller shaft.
