The Excess 11
Designed by VPLP Design and first built in 2020, the Excess 11 has a distinctly performance-minded character. Its larger sail area was developed to provide more speed as well as better performance in light winds, making sailing an important part of the model’s identity rather than simply a way to move between stops. Twin aft helm stations further shape that character, giving the design two dedicated steering positions at the back of the catamaran.
With a displacement of 9,000 kilograms, the Excess 11 brings its sailing focus into a catamaran format conceived for cruising.
