About this yacht

Arriving at Puerto de Andratx, your first steps aboard MIM OCEAN 2 take you across the teak deck and onto a spacious 2023 catamaran. A Bali 5.4 charter in Mallorca feels particularly relaxed when the captain, hostess and cook are already part of the experience: while they look after sailing and life aboard, your group can settle into the cockpit cushions, put music through the cockpit speakers and enjoy the departure together.

The guest accommodation is arranged across five cabins, with twin-bed and bunk layouts among the options, making the boat a strong choice for an extended family or several couples travelling together. Crew accommodation is positioned separately in the forepeak and aft stern areas, while five electric toilets help shared routines run smoothly. Air conditioning offers a welcome retreat below deck, and the refrigerator, ice maker, inverter and TV make it easy to move from an active day to a quiet evening aboard.

When you want to spend time on the water, the dinghy, stand-up paddleboard, snorkelling equipment and basic water toys are ready to vary the pace. Back aboard, the radio-CD player can provide the soundtrack while the cockpit becomes the natural gathering place for drinks, conversation and plans for the next stop. If MIM OCEAN 2 sounds right for your family or friends, send an inquiry and let us help you take the next step.

The Bali 5.4

First built in 2019, the Bali 5.4 was designed by Xavier Faÿ, with its interior created by Lasta Design Studio. Its defining architectural feature is the tilt-and-lift aft door, which rises like a garage door to connect the saloon and aft deck as one continuous area. A second door leads forward from the saloon to a foredeck cockpit with a drop-leaf table, giving the model two distinct outdoor spaces linked through the interior.

At 16.8 metres long and 8.74 metres across the beam, the Bali 5.4 has the broad proportions of a large cruising catamaran, while its draught is 1.48 metres. The sail plan carries 204 square metres of sail, and two 80 hp engines provide propulsion under power. Rather than using the daggerboards found on sportier Catana relatives, the model has a stub keel beneath each hull; these counter leeway and provide protection in the event of beaching. Together, these details give the Bali 5.4 a character centred on substantial living space, clear movement between social areas and a purposeful cruising configuration.
