About this yacht

Couples travelling together, or a family that wants room to spread out, will appreciate how MOIN divides the crew between three cabins and eight berths. Choosing this Oceanis 38 charter in Mallorca means setting out from Reial Club Nàutic Port de Pollença with a layout that gives everyone a place to retreat after sailing. Back in the cockpit, the cushions create a comfortable spot to compare plans for the next leg or simply settle in as the boat leaves the marina.

Day-to-day sailing is supported by a chart plotter in the cockpit and an autopilot, keeping navigation close at hand while underway. When it is time to stop, the swimming platform makes getting near the water more convenient, while the dinghy and outboard engine are ready for trips away from the yacht. Below deck, heating adds comfort when temperatures dip, solar panels contribute to the onboard power supply, and the single WC keeps the practical layout straightforward for a crew that is happy to share.

MOIN can be chartered without skipper by sailors holding the required licence, or with skipper/crew if you would rather place the sailing responsibilities in experienced hands. The mandatory charter pack includes the dinghy, outboard engine, bed linen and towels, final cleaning and cooking gas; it is paid in cash at handover, so the essentials are organised from the start. If MOIN feels right for your Mallorca crew, send an inquiry and let us help you take the next step.

The Oceanis 38

The Oceanis 38 was first built in 2013 and was designed by FINOT-CONQ. Its cruiser version was developed with a choice of two or three fitted cabins, allowing the model to address different accommodation priorities. The cockpit concept was similarly adaptable: it could be configured as an open cockpit without an aft swim platform or with a drop-down swimming area for a cruising programme.

Its character begins with the hull geometry. Length and beam at the waterline were extended as far as possible to help the Oceanis 38 cut quickly through the water while increasing stability. A sail area of 65.7 square metres is paired with a displacement of 6,850 kilograms, and the model has a maximum speed of 7.95 knots. Together, these details define a cruising yacht shaped around useful accommodation choices and purposeful sailing performance rather than unnecessary complexity.
