Alfredo Piedrafita

Alfredo Piedrafita Gómez was born in 1960 in Barbastro (Huesca, Aragón) and moved to Pamplona at the age of two, where he put down his musical roots in Spanish rock. In 1983 he joined Barricada as guitarist, one of Spain's most influential rock bands, and remained with them until their dissolution in 2013 – three decades during which Barricada became the soundtrack of an entire generation. After the band ended, he co-founded Miss Octubre alongside his son Iker Piedrafita, a project that kept him active on Spanish stages for another decade. Under his own name he released the solo album "Día 1" in 2014, "Demasiado (S) Humanos" in 2018, and "El Mejor de Tus Días" in 2025 – the latter on label Beatclap and recorded with contributions from Barricada members. His style moves between rock, hard rock and punk rock, defined by direct lyrics and raw guitar work. In 2026 he performs at Arrecife en Vivo in Ibiza and the IV MegaRock Fest, among others – and on 31 October 2026 he presents "El Mejor de Tus Días" live at Es Gremi in Palma de Mallorca.
