Jesse Calosso

Jesse Calosso is a DJ and producer from the Bronx, New York, whose musical roots run deep in disco and hip-hop. Growing up in close proximity to The Martinez Brothers, he forged a lifelong friendship and artistic bond with the duo — their fathers had already shared nights together at legendary New York clubs such as the Paradise Garage. That family love of disco, symbolised by an "attic full of vinyl," still shapes Calosso's productions today: uptempo percussion, dark distorted basslines and regular disco samples form his sonic foundation. As a DJ, he weaves Chicago-House grooves, driving techno and tech-house into a style that stubbornly defies categorisation. His EP "The Incoming" was released on The Martinez Brothers' Cuttin' Headz label and established him as a rising East Coast voice. Further releases followed on Hot Creations and Tuskegee; under the alias Masters At Dutch he recorded alongside The Martinez Brothers and Blas Cordero. Calosso is a resident at Cuttin' Headz showcases and has played at Circoloco (DC10 Ibiza), Marco Carola's Music On at Pacha Ibiza (most recently in a B2B set with Jean Pierre in September 2023), and the WILDCHILD event at O Beach Ibiza.
