Kander, de son vrai nom Alex Harrison, est originaire de Manchester et s’est imposé comme l’une des forces motrices de la scène hard techno britannique. Son style est marqué par les influences rugueuses du Schranz et de l’industriel, associées à l’énergie brute de la culture underground du nord de l’Angleterre. Avec des sorties sur des labels réputés comme R Label (Kobosil & Somewhen) et HEKATE, il s’est également fait connaître à l’international : son EP R007 en quatre titres est sorti en mars 2024 et a été salué pour son son techno britannique sombre et chargé d’émotion. En parallèle de sa carrière de producteur, Kander dirige le label Teletech UK et est résident du Gotec Club. Parmi les temps forts de son parcours figurent une prestation au Boiler Room en 2022, des tournées en Amérique du Sud et en Asie, ainsi qu’une apparition au festival britannique Creamfields. Avec sa tournée nord-américaine via Teletech et un autre titre sur 44, il montre qu’il passe résolument de la scène underground à une audience grand public.
