Trio Tríptic est un ensemble écossais composé de Greg Lawson au violon et à la mandoline, Phil Alexander au piano et à l’accordéon, et Mario Caribé à la guitare et à la basse. Tous trois ont été membres du groupe fusion de Glasgow Moishe's Bagel. Après le dernier concert de Moishe's Bagel en 2022, le projet Soundhouse, basé à Édimbourg, les a réunis. Ils ont donné leur premier concert ensemble en 2023 au Edinburgh Festival sous le nom provisoire « The Band with No Name », avant d’adopter le nom Tríptic. Le son du trio mêle tango dramatique, klezmer vibrant, folk du monde et grooves jazz aux influences latino-américaines, portés par une instrumentation soudée et d’une grande précision rythmique. Les trois musiciens ont reçu de nombreuses distinctions et sont profondément ancrés dans la scène des musiques du monde de Glasgow. Leur processus de composition collaboratif est au cœur du développement artistique de l’ensemble. Triptic s’est produit au Edinburgh International Festival ; son premier album est sorti en 2025.
