Play: The secret of Photo 51

Who is remembered, and who is forgotten? On 19 November 2026, the play “Das Geheimnis von Foto 51” comes to Banyalbufar, exploring how women scientists have faded from historical memory. Its subject reaches beyond science itself, raising questions about who receives recognition for an achievement and whose contribution remains unseen. If you enjoy theatre that engages with social questions, this performance offers a reason to reflect on recognition and the gaps in the histories we inherit. It is an opportunity to make theatre part of your time in Banyalbufar while considering whose stories we remember.
