Emma DJ è un produttore nato a Helsinki e oggi residente a Parigi, la cui musica si muove tra la pista da club e territori sperimentali di confine. Il suo sound è caratterizzato da texture dense, ritmi abrasivi e strutture melodiche inquietanti: un incontro fra ambient ed energia da club che sfugge a ogni definizione. Emma DJ ha pubblicato per etichette come Collapsing Market, L.I.E.S., BFDM, High Digital e UIQ, conquistandosi negli anni un posto stabile nella scena elettronica sperimentale europea. Il suo album del 2020 „Legalize Everything" riunisce brani di diversa intensità, tenuti insieme dal suo stile inconfondibile. Nel 2021 è uscito „Godrime", che unisce elementi trap e produzione rap al suo approccio sperimentale. Con il suo album più recente, „Lay2g", si dedica all'era bloghouse dei primi anni 2010, che definisce internamente „post-bloghouse". Emma DJ fa inoltre parte del collettivo rave parigino Fusion Mes Couilles e si esibisce regolarmente in festival internazionali, tra cui il Lunchmeat Festival 2022.
