Es Seregalls is een familieboerderij met olijfgaarden in Fornalutx, midden in de Serra de Tramuntana.

Een levende olijfgaard

De familieboerderij Es Seregalls ligt in Es Marroigs, Fornalutx, midden in de Serra de Tramuntana — UNESCO-werelderfgoed. De olijfbomen en traditionele terrassen staan centraal; de gastfamilie beheert ze duurzaam, naar het voorbeeld van hun voorouders. Het bezoek begint in de zomerkeuken. Samen met de gastvrouw stel je een picknickmand samen en proef je verschillende olijfolies en olijven. De picknick bestaat uit olijven, pa amb oli, amandelen en — afhankelijk van het seizoen — versgeperst sinaasappelsap. Daarna volgt een bewegwijzerde rondwandeling door de olijfgaard, waar informatieborden in verschillende talen uitleg geven over de teelt, oogst en verwerking. Op het terrein leven ook dieren.

Het adres is Sa Vinya Vella d'Amunt in Fornalutx (07109). De rit ernaartoe met de auto is lastig en wordt als avontuurlijk beschouwd. Je kunt vanuit Fornalutx ook te voet omhoog wandelen — de route duurt ongeveer 35 minuten en biedt mooie uitzichten. De boerderij is ook te voet bereikbaar vanuit Rentadores Biniaraix. De gastvrouw stuurt je desgewenst vooraf via WhatsApp een routebeschrijving met foto's.
