El Museo Regional de Artà es un museo situado en Artà que preserva la historia natural y cultural de la localidad.
Colección y exposición
El museo se divide en dos áreas: historia natural y arqueología. La sección de historia natural gira en torno a una colección de aves autóctonas donada al museo por el farmacéutico Llorenç Garcías Font. El área arqueológica presenta piezas prehistóricas de la comarca de Artà, una colección formada gracias a donaciones privadas y a la labor de investigadores propios. También se pueden contemplar muestras marinas de las Baleares y una exposición de cerámica.
Historia y gestión
El museo fue fundado en 1927 por un grupo de eruditos locales con el objetivo de preservar el patrimonio cultural de Artà. El edificio que lo alberga fue adquirido y restaurado posteriormente por Sa Nostra, la caja de ahorros mallorquina.
