Ciro y los Persas is een Argentijnse rockband uit Buenos Aires, opgericht in 2009 door Andrés Ciro Martínez – de legendarische frontman van Los Piojos, waarmee hij twintig jaar lang een van de belangrijkste bands in de Argentijnse rock aanvoerde. Na het uiteenvallen van Los Piojos in april 2009 richtte Martínez direct zijn nieuwe project op: de eerste concerten volgden al in december 2009 in Rosario en Córdoba. In 2010 verscheen het debuutalbum *Espejos*, dat dubbel platina behaalde. Daarna volgden *27* (2012) en *Naranja persa* (2016/18), evenals de albums *Guerras (Un Viaje En el Tiempo)* (2021) en *Sueños (Un Viaje En el Tiempo)* (2023), dat laatste in samenwerking met Orquesta Filarmónica de Mendoza. Muzikaal combineert de band klassieke rock en poprock met blues, funk, jazz, reggae, candombe en tango. De band vulde meermaals Estadio Monumental in Buenos Aires en stond als voorprogramma van The Rolling Stones en Paul McCartney in Estadio River Plate. Ciro y los Persas staat onder contract bij label 300 en toert regelmatig door Europa. In september 2026 staat de band onder meer op het podium van Sala Es Gremi in Palma de Mallorca.
