Emanero – real name Federico Giannoni, born 1 June 1987 in Buenos Aires – is one of the defining voices of Argentina's urban music scene. He started rapping at 14 and soon began producing his own beats; at 17 he released his debut EP "Mi primer Maqueta". His first album "Bienvenidos a mi mundo" (2006) spread his sound beyond Argentina's borders to Montevideo and Rio de Janeiro. He appeared on the compilation "Hip Hop Nuestro Volumen 1" alongside artists such as MV Bill, El Chojin and Nega Giza. His catalogue includes albums like "Tres", "Tres Mil Millones de Años Luz", "Chernobyl" and "El Último Sinvergüenza", released on labels including Fifty One, Discos Crack and LEB Records. He broke through internationally with the modern bolero hit "BANDIDO" (feat. FMK, Estani & Rusherking), which surpassed 125 million streams and charted in over 15 countries on Spotify. Through his collaborative "Runfla" project, he produced further massive hits: "ATORRANTE" (feat. Ulises Bueno, Migrantes & Los Palmeras) crossed 100 million streams, and "ADICTO" with La Konga and Antonio Rios showcases his ability to blend hip-hop with cumbia sounds. His clear, narrative style and positive outlook make him one of Latin America's most versatile MCs.
