JAIIMO, echte naam Lutendo Kungoane, werd op 5 maart 1992 geboren in Johannesburg, Zuid-Afrika, in een Venda-familie. Al op school ontdekte hij zijn passie voor muziek en in de 10e klas werd hij dj van zijn school. Tegenwoordig is hij actief als dj, muziekproducent en A&R-manager en heeft hij samengewerkt met twee van de belangrijkste muziekbedrijven van het land: Kennel Music en Sony Music Entertainment South Africa.
