Ossifar is een Mallorcaanse muziekgroep die vooral in de vroege jaren 1990 actief was en een vaste plaats heeft veroverd in de lokale rock- en popscene van het eiland. Hun in 1990 verschenen debuut-lp *Cansiones De Amor Amb Los Calsones Baixos* legde de basis voor een carrière die werd gekenmerkt door een onmiskenbare mix van de Mallorcaanse taal en een humoristische stijl. Daarna volgden meer uitgaven: *En Gori Cuper Té Morenes* (1991), *Indiana Pons En Busca De La Porsella Rustida* (1993) en *Da-Li Cebes!* (1994). Hun videoclip bij „Indiana Pons En Busca De La Porcella Rustida" laat zien dat ze nadrukkelijk aanwezig waren op het podium en in videoclips. Het project is verbonden aan het Mallorcaanse label Guspira.net, dat zich specialiseert in lokale artiesten. Een mashupproject op SoundCloud combineerde materiaal van Ossifar met de technoklassieker „Born Slippy" van Underworld – een bewijs dat hun muziek nog altijd deel uitmaakt van het culturele geheugen van Mallorca.
