Sofía Ellar, officieel Sofía Lecubarri Ruigómez en geboren op 15 november 1993 in Londen, is een Brits-Spaanse singer-songwriter die als kind met haar familie naar Madrid verhuisde en daar haar muziekcarrière opbouwde. Ze trad al in de vroege jaren 2000 op tijdens kleine concerten en studeerde daarnaast Business Administration aan IE University. Haar doorbraak kwam via sociale-mediaplatforms als SoundCloud, Instagram en YouTube, wat leidde tot radio- en tv-optredens en een tournee door Spanje. In februari 2017 verscheen haar debuutalbum „Seis Peniques", aangevoerd door de single „Segundas Partes Entre Suicidas". Daarna volgden het album „Nota en Do" (2018), het liveproject „Una y Nos Vamos: Sesiones de Aperitivo" (2021), „Libre" (2022) en meest recent „Ellar" (2025). Tot haar samenwerkingen behoren tracks met Álvaro Soler („Barrer a Casa"), Andrés Suárez en het benefietsingleproject „Humanidad en Paro" (december 2017), waarvan zij de volledige opbrengst schonk. Ze trad onder meer op tijdens Arenal Sound en Concert Music Festival. Ze is vooral bekend om haar uitzonderlijk hechte band met haar publiek: tijdens concerten zingt ze vaak midden tussen haar fans.
