Tobee, real name Tobias Riether, was born on 24 June 1985 in Geislingen an der Steige, Germany. From an early age he learned several instruments and took singing lessons; at 15 he formed a rock cover band, and at 18 he won a talent competition in party music – laying the groundwork for his rise as one of Germany's best-known Partyschlager artists.
His breakthrough came with "Jetzt ist der Teufel los," which reached No. 7 on the German charts in 2015. Further chart entries followed, including "Helikopter 117 (Mach' den Hub Hub Hub)" (2019, double platinum in Germany) and the collaborations "Pretty Belinda – Schlauchboot" and "Pretty Belinda – Skilift" with British singer Chris Andrews. In 2023 he appeared on the Oktoberfest Megamix alongside Ivan Fillini and DJ Cashi.
Tobee's music combines catchy melodies and danceable beats with a classic Partyschlager feel – perfectly suited to festivals, folk fairs and summer party events. Alongside his music career he works as a concert promoter and practises as a dentist.
