Sheep herding demonstration with sheepdogs

How do a handler and a sheepdog work together? A sheep-herding demonstration in Santanyí on 24 October 2026 gives you a chance to explore that relationship. Miquel Adrover “des Cau” will present the demonstration with sheepdogs and sheep. Herding depends on communication between handler and dog, along with careful attention to the flock. The dog helps keep the sheep together and guide their movement. This demonstration offers you a practical introduction to that rural skill, focusing on the animals and the teamwork involved in moving a flock.
