Revolver był londyńskim zespołem gitarowym działającym w latach 1990–1994. Trio tworzyli Mat Flint (gitara/wokal), Hamish Brown (bas) i Nick Dewey (perkusja). Flint i Dewey znali się już ze wspólnych szkolnych zespołów; kiedy jesienią 1990 roku obaj przenieśli się do Londynu, dołączył do nich Brown, uzupełniając skład. Po zainteresowaniu ze strony takich wytwórni jak Dedicated Records, One Little Indian i Creation Records zespół latem 1991 roku podpisał kontrakt z Hut Records, sublabelem Virgin Records. Na londyńskiej scenie alternatywnej i shoegazingowej początku lat 90. Revolver szybko zbudował wierne grono fanów i koncertował jako support dla takich wykonawców jak Chapterhouse, Slowdive, Teenage Fanclub i Blur. Prasa przyjęła zespół entuzjastycznie. Po rozwiązaniu grupy w 1994 roku zespół powrócił w 2025 roku na reunion i zapowiedział koncerty w Skegness oraz Nottingham.
