The Robe is the solo project of Nashville-based multi-instrumentalist Rollum Haas. All compositions and recordings are created entirely by Haas, blending Krautrock and Art Pop sensibilities into a distinctive sound. Beyond The Robe, Haas has an extensive collaborative history, having performed with Soccer Mommy, Coupler, Tristen, Brendan Benson, Cortney Tidwell, Lylas, and Patrick Damphier, among others. The project is released through indie label yk Records. In February 2024, Haas guest-hosted the "Whistle In" radio show on Nashville's WXNA, sharing a full curated playlist. A Summer 2024 playlist was also released via Spotify. The Robe represents a thoughtful, craft-driven approach to experimental music outside the mainstream.
