S'Arrual Jazz Mort is a jazz band from Mallorca dedicated to classic New Orleans jazz, Dixieland, and 1930s swing. Their repertoire draws on Duke Ellington's Cotton Club era and is complemented by modern songs with original lyrics by Toni Isern – a blend of historic jazz heritage and their own creative voice. The band's debut album «S'Arrual Jazz Mort» was released in 2002 on Blau Records, followed by the second album «Es Pirata». They perform regularly across Mallorca, including in Palma de Mallorca and Manacor, and appeared at HortellaFest in July 2016. The debut was recorded at the Teatre de Vilafranca. With their authentic swing sound and mix of classic and original material, S'Arrual Jazz Mort stands as one of the island's defining voices in local jazz.
