Nino Gvetadze

Nino Gvetadze é uma pianista clássica georgiana, nascida e criada em Tiflis. Iniciou a sua formação musical no Tbilisi State Conservatoire, com Veronika Tumanishvili, Nodar Gabunia e Nana Khubutia, antes de se mudar para os Países Baixos para frequentar o mestrado — no Conservatório de Den Haag e no Conservatorium van Amsterdam, onde estudou com Paul Komen e Jan Wijn. A projeção internacional chegou em 2008, com o Segundo Prémio, o Prémio da Imprensa e o Prémio do Público no International Franz Liszt Piano Competition; em 2010, recebeu o prestigiado Borletti-Buitoni Trust Award. Como solista, atuou com maestros como Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Jaap van Zweden, Klaus Mäkelä e Jakub Hrůša, entre outros, com a Rotterdam Philharmonic, a Netherlands Philharmonic e a Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. Entre as salas onde atua regularmente contam-se o Concertgebouw Amsterdam, a Wigmore Hall London e a Tonhalle Zürich. Gvetadze gravou nove CDs a solo para editoras como Challenge Records, Orchid Classics, Brilliant Classics e Etcetera Records, incluindo o muito elogiado álbum de Chopin „Ghosts". É professora no Codarts Rotterdam, bem como cofundadora e Artistic Director do Naarden International Piano Festival e do Delft Chamber Music Festival.
