Orfeó de Mallorca

The Orfeó de Mallorca is a choir based on the island of Mallorca, bringing together around 60 singers from Palma and communities across the island, including Alaró, Binissalem, Inca, Llucmajor, and Alcúdia. As an affiliated choir of the Orfeó Balear – one of the most prestigious choral organisations in the Balearic Islands – the ensemble cultivates a wide repertoire spanning opera, song, zarzuela, and a specialisation in a cappella music. In recent years, the choir has revived important works from the Catalan, Mallorcan, and Spanish choral traditions, presenting them at a high artistic level. The Orfeó de Mallorca regularly collaborates with the Cercle Líric Balear and performs alongside symphony orchestras, making it a constant presence in Mallorca's concert season. Appearances at prestigious venues, including Palma Cathedral, reflect the choir's central role in the island's cultural life.
