Parade with the Capdepera Music Band

On 17 August, Capdepera’s municipal band takes to the streets for a festive procession. The programme also features Batucap Batucada and Capdepera’s giants. This fiesta brings together band music, percussion rhythms and the distinctive large figures that are part of local celebration culture. A cercavila, or musical street parade, is a lovely way to experience Capdepera in motion: pause along the route, follow the sounds and take in the celebratory atmosphere around the town.
