Die Dorfrocker är en trio från Kirchaich i Unterfranken: Tobias Thomann (sång, gitarr), Philipp Thomann (sologitarr) och Markus Thomann (dragspel) – tre bröder som grundade bandet tillsammans 2005. Deras sound förenar modern pop och rock med inslag av folkmusik och partyschlager, kryddat med countryinfluenser – med texter om byliv, öl och härliga tider.
Debutalbumet *Party, Mädels… Geile Zeit!* släpptes 2007 på Ariola Records, följt av de första tv-framträdandena i folkmusikprogrammet *Feste der Volksmusik*. Efter en öppningsspelning på Schürzenjägers avskedsturné och det andra albumet *Jetzt Geht's Tichtig Ab* (2008) tog Die Dorfrocker sig för första gången in på de tyska listorna med *Remmi Demmi* (2010) – bland annat med „Vogelbeerbaum / Schwarz-Rot-Gold" (DE #59). År 2012 följde *Roll den Roten Teppich Aus*, innan bandet bytte till Sony Entertainment 2014. Debuten på det nya bolaget, *Dorfkind und Stolz Drauf*, nådde plats 12. Ett välkänt samarbete är „Dorfkind – Mallorcastyle Mix" med Mia Julia, som målmedvetet förenar partyschlager och Mallorca-sound. På festivalstråk som Hannover Olé har Die Dorfrocker stått på scen tillsammans med artister som Matthias Reim och Mickie Krause.
