Trio Tríptic

Trio Tríptic är en skotsk ensemble med musikerna Greg Lawson (fiol, mandolin), Phil Alexander (piano, dragspel) och Mario Caribé (gitarr, bas) – alla tre tidigare medlemmar i Glasgows fusionband Moishe's Bagel. Efter Moishe's Bagels sista konsert 2022 förde det Edinburgh-baserade Soundhouse-projektet samman de tre musikerna. De gjorde sitt första gemensamma framträdande 2023 under arbetsnamnet „The Band with No Name" på Edinburgh Festival, innan de tog namnet Tríptic. Trions sound förenar dramatisk tango, livfull klezmer, global folk och jazzgroove med latinamerikanska influenser, buren av ett tätt och rytmiskt precist samspel. Alla tre musiker är flerfaldigt prisbelönta och har djupa rötter i Glasgows världsmusikscen. Deras gemensamma kompositionsprocess står i centrum för ensemblens konstnärliga utveckling. Triptic har uppträtt på Edinburgh International Festival och deras debutalbum kom 2025.
