Description
Bodega Son Ramon is a winery in Llubí with a history stretching all the way back to 1649.
History & New Beginnings
Bodega Son Ramon was founded in 1649 and sits in the municipality of Llubí, nestled between the villages of Llubí and Muro. By 1760 the estate already encompassed 37 hectares of vineyards and an old Mallorcan wine cellar that survives to this day — fully restored, yet true to its original character. A later outbreak of phylloxera forced the estate to uproot every vine. In 2005, the Ramis-Fornés family joined forces with oenologist Josep Lluís Pérez to start afresh: ten hectares were replanted and a modern pressing facility was built.
