Description

Breogán Cocina Gallega is a Galician restaurant in the heart of Palma, specialising in dry-aged beef and fresh seafood straight from Galicia.

Galician cuisine at its finest

Breogán is run by two brothers who have brought the food of their Galician homeland to Mallorca. One takes personal charge at the grill, looking after every steak, while the other welcomes and guides guests in the dining room. Every dish on the menu has its roots in Galicia — the concept is deliberately authentic and not pitched at tourist tastes.

Dry-aged beef and fresh seafood

The centrepiece of the menu is dry-aged Galician beef, grilled over charcoal. The ageing period goes well beyond 30 days, and the team will fill you in on the specifics for each cut at the table. If you'd like to choose your piece before it hits the grill, you're welcome to browse the display cabinet where the matured cuts are kept. Alongside the beef, the menu features seafood such as mussels, clams, and percebes, as well as fish. Vegetarian options are available too, and the cheesecake is a much-loved way to round off the meal.

Wine selection and guidance

The wine list is extensive, and the team actively helps you find the right bottle — matching wines to specific cuts and dishes as part of the service. Guidance across the full menu, covering cuts, provenance, ageing, and sides, is very much part of the Breogán experience.
