Description

Cala Estància is a small sandy beach tucked into a sheltered cove in the Platja de Palma area of Mallorca.

Water & Beach

The bay shelves gently and gradually, so the water stays shallow for a good distance out. Two breakwaters protect the cove, keeping the sea notably calm. Fish are visible in the water, making it a rewarding spot for snorkellers. Seaweed can occasionally appear along one side of the beach.

Atmosphere & Character

Cala Estància is a quiet, lifeguard-supervised beach with a relaxed feel. Outside peak season it is almost completely peaceful. The beach is cleaned every day. A coastal promenade with a dedicated cycle path runs along the bay, making it a lovely spot for a stroll or a jog.

Location & Getting There

The beach sits within the Can Pastilla / Platja de Palma area. Cafés, bars, restaurants and shops are all within easy walking distance. A bus stop served by route 35 towards Palma is just a few minutes on foot.

Accessibility & Facilities

The beach is well equipped for visitors with reduced mobility. On-site facilities include toilets and sun lounger hire.
