Cala Llombards
Description
Cala Llombards is a bathing cove in the municipality of Santanyí in the south-east of Mallorca, framed by dramatic cliffs and rock formations.
Water, Beach and Rocky Landscape
The turquoise water at Cala Llombards is exceptionally clear — something you'll appreciate all the more when snorkelling, as fish are easily spotted beneath the surface. The beach itself is fine sand, with cliffs and rock formations flanking either side of the cove. The rocks are popular for jumping into the sea, with a range of heights to choose from. Coastal paths run along the clifftops, letting you explore the cove on foot, and from the water you can spot traditional boathouses and fishermen's cottages.
Facilities at the Beach
Right at the cove you'll find a beach bar serving food and drinks, as well as pedalo and SUP hire. A lifeguard is on duty, and public toilets are available on site.
Location, Getting There and Parking
Cala Llombards lies within the municipality of Santanyí (07690). There is a small free car park directly at the cove, though it fills up quickly in high season. A larger free car park at the entrance to the village provides an alternative, with a downhill walk to the beach from there. Accessible parking spaces are available. The cove gets very busy during high season, so arriving early gives you the best chance of finding a spot right on the beach.
