Cala Sa Nau
Description
Cala Sa Nau is a small, natural cove within the municipal area of Felanitx on the east coast of Mallorca.
The Cove
The S-shaped cove sits in the eastern part of the Felanitx municipality, nestled between Cala d'Or and Portocolom. It is narrow and framed by low rocky outcrops dotted with pine trees and Mediterranean scrub. The water is crystal clear and, thanks to its sheltered position, conditions for swimming are generally calm. Those keen on snorkelling will find fish and rocky seabed to explore.
Beach Facilities
The beach is equipped with a chiringuito beach bar, showers, clean toilets, and a lifeguard post. The chiringuito serves food and drinks; booking ahead for lunch is recommended, though takeaway is available without a reservation. Sun loungers are available to hire. During the peak season the cove fills up quickly owing to its compact size.
Getting There & Parking
The access road is narrow. A car park is located close to the cove, from which a steep footpath leads down to the beach. Arriving early is a reliable way to secure a spot — both in the car park and on the beach itself.
