Description

Camp de Mar Beach is a sandy beach in the south-west of Mallorca, nestled in the small village of Camp de Mar. It's best known for its crystal-clear, turquoise water and a charming little rocky island sitting right in the middle of the bay.

Water, sand, and an island in the middle of the bay

The defining feature of Camp de Mar Beach is a small rocky island that splits the bay in two — and happens to have a restaurant on it. The water is crystal clear, the seabed sandy and fine underfoot. Fish and other sea life gather among the rocks on either side of the beach and around the island, making conditions ideal for snorkelling. The beach itself is framed by mountains, pine trees, and rocks.

A great spot for families and relaxed beach days

The sheltered bay is well suited to families with children, with calm water and a sandy shoreline. There's a children's playground on the beach, along with public toilets and showers. Sun loungers and parasols are available to hire — two loungers with a parasol cost €16 per day, and the parasol comes with a small lockable compartment for valuables.

Everything you need, right on your doorstep

A supermarket, bars, restaurants, and a handful of small shops are all within easy reach of the beach. The island restaurant is accessible via a wooden walkway leading directly from the shore.

Location and getting there

The beach is located on Carrer des Torrent in Camp de Mar, postcode 07160. Parking is available nearby, roughly a five-minute walk from the beach. It's worth arriving early during the summer months, as spaces fill up quickly.
