playa de ses dones
Description
Playa de ses Dones is a small, natural cove in Camp de Mar on the south-west coast of Mallorca.
A natural cove with turquoise water
Playa de ses Dones — also known as Caló de ses Dones — is a rocky cove with turquoise water and a sandy seabed. The spot has a wonderfully unspoilt feel: Posidonia seagrass meadows are a common sight, and the size of the beach shifts from year to year depending on whether storms bring sand in or carry it away. Water shoes are a wise addition to your bag before you visit. A small jetty stretches out over the water, making it a lovely place to lie back and soak up the surroundings.
Quieter than the neighbouring beach
The cove sees far fewer visitors than the sandy beach at Camp de Mar nearby — though it does get noticeably busier on summer weekends. Finding a parking spot close by can require a little patience during peak season; outside the busiest months, things are considerably more relaxed.
Location in Camp de Mar
The cove sits at Ctra. Camp de Mar 20 in Camp de Mar, a small coastal settlement on the south-west of the island.
