This cave is karst in origin and follows a predominantly horizontal course, reaching a depth of around 60 metres. As there is no artificial lighting inside, bring your own torch. Sturdy footwear and suitable clothing are strongly recommended before heading in.

The approach starts at La Vileta cemetery, from where a path leads to the cave — 1,750 metres in length with an elevation change of 137 metres, taking roughly 45 minutes on foot. The upper entrance sits at 296 metres above sea level and the lower one at 252 metres.
