Forn de Baix is a traditional bakery and patisserie in Lloseta that has been run as a family business since 1850 and is now in the hands of the fifth generation of the Pou family.
The Cardenal de Lloseta
The star of Forn de Baix is the Cardenal de Lloseta — a layered cake of sponge, whipped cream and meringue that has earned a reputation well beyond the village. It comes in individual portions as well as a larger version serving around ten people. If you fancy something a little different, you can also find it in Ferrero, Kinder Bueno, chocolate and truffle variations.

Alongside the Cardenal, Forn de Baix offers a range of Mallorcan baked goods: bread, rolls, ensaimadas — including a version filled with angel hair — and further patisserie specialities such as coca de fulls d'albercocs.
